Watch His Make-A-Wish Granted To Become a Pro Soccer Player

18-year-old Xander Bailey suffers from cystic fibrosis, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation just granted his request. His wish was to be a professional soccer player. But he got even more than that.

First, he signed a short-term contract with the Seattle Sounders. Then trained with the team on Friday, and Saturday started for the Sounders in a friendly against Tottenham Hotspur.

At the start of the game, he kicked the ball off to Clint Dempsey, exchanged a few passes and was given a clear run on goal before he shot on goalie Brad Friedel.

He was then subbed out as the crowd of 55,000 cheered.
